Many scientist believe we were created through a cloud of a cloud of dust and rocks. This is how the story of the universe was fore told. Scientist said that there was a cloud or a nebula that traveled through space, then a Baby Red Sun was in the middle. As the cloud began to rotate around the Red Sun small bumps evolved into balls then the first two planets were born, Jupiter and Saturn.Then tiny lumps made of rock and ice turned into planets 4 of them , Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars.Then the last two....Ice planets Uranus and Neptune. Then asteroid's stared to orbit the Sun with the planets.This is called the Big Bang.
Mercury!!! You know that Mercury is the closest planets to the Sun right? Well do you know that back in the years of BC, (Before Christ) it was called the morning star and evening star. That was a tale to the people who lived in 9 BC. Some scientist believe that Mercury might of had a moon but the Sun’s gravity pulled it near it’s self and than it was disintegrated and burnt out to ashes by the heat.
Venus well is the hottest planet and the 2nd planet from the Sun. Venus has been known since the prehistoric times and still is now. Venus has a roman name and is Aphrodite goddess of beauty and love.You can see Venus without a telescope,you would have to look in the right direction.
Earth has lived on for at least 4.3 billion years.The first creatures to live of sea and land is amphibian’s,if they didn’t make it on land we would of not existed. Ancient bones of the first creatures were discovered in the waters of the deep sea in the Atlantic Ocean.
Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and is the second planet to be traveled to in the year 2011 by humans.The Red Planet or Mars is named after the roman god of war and man Ares.Mars has the biggest mountain in the solar system and is named after the ‘Greek Mountain’ Mons Olympus a god mountain.They also have the biggest canyon.
Jupiter is the biggest of all and is the fifth planet from the Sun.The Giant or Jupiter has a roman name which is called Zeus king of the gods.The Great Red Spot has interested me because it’s a large storm that has been raging on for 300 years and is bigger than Earth its self, the biggest Rocky Planet.Jupiter also has the biggest moon and is called Ganymead.Jupiter is the biggest well the biggest moon that a little odd don’t you think?
Saturn is the second biggest planet and is sixth from the Sun.The Ringed Planet or Saturn has a roman name.He’s the father of Zeus and is called Kronos a titan and died in the Great War of the gods. Saturn has the most rings and is believed that it was created when a moons were pulled apart from it’s gravity.The moon Titan is a the 2nd biggest moon and is named after the last titan to fall, Gaia.
Hmm!Uranus?Oh Uranus is counted as one of the windiest planet and the 7th planet from the Sun.A year of Uranus is 4 Earth years and to complete an orbit around the Sun is 1,546 Earth years.I can’t believe it,Uranus is a planet with the most tornado's and storms in our solar system.
Neptune is the called the water ball and is the last planet from the Sun.Neptune had a storm like Jupiter and it is gone but not for gotten.Neptune is the coldest planet and has a core that is actually cold that if you touch it you could die because your blood would lose it’s tempture.
